What we do: Slide 1: Provide recorded extracts from newspapers for the visually impaired.  And, its a free service.  Slide 2: Which Papers? Weekly: an hour long recording from the Eastbourne Herald and the Eastbourne Gazette.  Also, an hour long recording from the weekend national newspapers. Slide 3: The Magazine: Monthly, an hour long recording of extracts from publications such as Saga and Sussex Life, and, occasionally an interview with people of interest. Slide 4: How we do it. In our own professional recording studio,  a picture of the building is shown. Slide 5: Ready to record,  a picture of volunteers working in the studio is shown. Slide 6: Editing,  a picture showing a lady in the editing process is shown. Slide 7: Digital readout,  a picture displaying the digital readout is shown.  Slide 8: The final Edit,  a picture showing the volunteers making last edits is shown.  Slide 9: The Boombox on which our listeners access the talking news,  the boombox is pictured.
